PREFACE
Allah the Almighty created Adam by stating, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority." (Baqarah, 2/30), and made our mother Hawwa (Eve) his companion. He (swt) made these two precious beings the spouses that complete each other; and created bonds of compassion and affection between them. Allah (swt) hosted them in His paradise and warned both against the Satan. The couple went through a trial, broke the Divine prohibition together, then repented and took refuge in the Exalted Creator together, and stepped into the life on earth together.
Unfortunately, this equal treatment in the Divine presence did not continue in the life on earth; the history of humanity witnessed numerous scenes where mercy and justice were ignored and the rights and dignity of women were violated. The mentality of Jahiliyya, which regards women as a reason of bad luck and associates them with the Satan, has continued to exist in many regions for ages and captured the society until the message of the Prophet (saw).
Allah the Almighty send a prophet for the last time and mentioned the value and rights of women. While they had not been valued even as an item before, women became valuable and respectable individuals whose complaints were the subject of revelation thanks to the Prophet who respects their opinions and choices. They have found a place for themselves in every field of life from education to health, and from commerce to politics, and had the opportunity to share their experiences.
The Prophet (saw) has become the source of peace and trust for women. He protected and observed their rights, defined them as "the trusts of Allah", and warned men regarding their behavior towards women. As stated in the verse, he wanted men and women to be wali (guardian/ally) of each other who help one another to the Paradise, and guided them in this direction. Our beloved Prophet (saw) explained Islam's view on women, and showed its reflections on life by his own practices. The book in your hands was compiled from the corpus of "Islam through Hadiths", which was prepared with the aim of introducing the Prophet's wise and merciful world and timeless example to today's world. May this work be beneficial to all those who read it.
