Pakistan is a vast and diverse beautiful country where various types of animals are found. Unique species of animals are found here which adapt themselves according to the regional environment and changing seasons.

Pakistan's forests, mountainous regions, arid desert plains, and riverine areas provide habitats for various types of animals.

In the region, lions, tigers, elephants, deer, antelopes, jackals, crocodiles, fish, and otters are present.

There is also abundant presence of birds such as eagles, falcons, crows, pigeons, and some rare species.

Some well-known protected areas where animals are bred and cared for include Chitral, Deosai, Chitral Gol National Park, Gilgit, and Chitral, among others.
