COMMENTS ON THE BOOK
Ejaz's poetic struggle is this dialectic of self-confidence and and fear of peril... His writing is a struggle through which he hopes to reach into the deeper recesses of his being, the valley of his soul, without losing sight of his surroundings.

Ejaz is a pathologist by training, at ease with microscopy and inquest, skills he utilises to his advantage as he looks at life as it is and as it was... Notwithstanding the language he chooses to share his feelings and thoughts, he is never far from the ocean of love and caring that he is immersed in.

Love and Trust appear to be the central themes of the book. However love is not treated in the tradition of romantic excess but as a sentiment expressed with classical restraint. Consequently the mode of presentation falls in the domain of poetical realism rather than pure lyricism. This does not dilute the sentiment of love but reflects a broader vision, a larger context in which love has significance.
